LONDON — Unilever has appointed Golin as its global PR agency of record for its laundry detergent brands, which include Persil (pictured), OMO, Breeze and Surf Excel. Already on the Persil UK roster, Golin will now support Unilever’s ‘Dirt Is Good’ portfolio globally, as the company consolidates its corporate and consumer communications accounts. Golin will now support earned strategic and creative work across the brands.

LONDON — The UK Department for Education has selected Four Agency to deliver its ‘childcare choices’ campaign over the next two years, which aims to make parents aware of government financial support available to help with childcare costs. The contract value is nearly £1.6 million.

LONDON — Mitsubishi Electric Europe has appointed MHP Group as its retained strategic communications partner across EMEA after a competitive pitch. The account was previously held by Edelman. MHP’s brief is to build and manage the company’s reputation as a sustainability pioneer, including providing corporate communications, issues management, planning, social media strategy, media relations and crisis counsel across the region.

LONDON — Also at MHP Group, consumer agency Mischief has been selected to handle European PR strategy and execution for Pringles, on a two-year, six-figure retainer. Mischief will develop the snack brand’s European PR strategy and plan as well as executing campaigns in the UK, focusing on areas such as gaming and football.

LONDON — Swiss insurance company Zurich has appointed Ogilvy PR to develop a multichannel global corporate communications brief. The agency will be responsible for global press office support as well as thought leadership opportunities. The account will be led from London by client partner Claire Haddrill.

KUWAIT — Strategic communications consultancy Kekst CNC has advised the management team of Beyout Investment Group – which provides human resources, project lifecycle support, and real estate services – on financial communications around its oversubscribed $147 million listing on the Boursa Kuwait exchange: the first listing on the exchange in more than two years. Kekst CNC has also advised on communications and investor relations around other major transactions in the Gulf region, including the IPOs of OQGN and Investcorp Capital.

LONDON — Moët Hennessy, the wines and spirits division of conglomerate LVMH, has added consumer agency Earnies to its Hennessy cognac roster after a competitive pitch. Earnies will work with Hennessy across its communications programme, including talent and influencer engagement and UK earned activations.

LONDON — Brands2Life has won the UK communications brief for Neo4j, a global graph database and analytics unicorn, after a competitive pitch. Neo4j enables organisations to harness the power of data by revealing hidden patterns and new relationships, and its graph database technology is used to improve the accuracy and transparency of Generative AI applications. Brands2Life’s remit includes elevating Neo4j’s brand presence in the UK and championing graph technology through thought leadership, case studies, and engaging its 250,000-strong open-source community.

LONDON — Budweiser-owned at-home draught beer brand PerfectDraft has appointed Alfred as its retained UK consumer agency, after a four-way competitive pitch. Alfred will handle UK consumer communications, including strategic consultancy, creative consumer campaigns and ongoing media engagement. PerfectDraft enables consumers to pour fresh pints of more than 45 beers and ciders at home, including Stella, Corona and Budweiser.

LONDON — UFL, a free-to-play football game from Strikerz Inc, which counts Cristiano Ronaldo among its investors, has appointed Boldspace as its retained PR agency. The partnership will see Boldspace driving awareness and a buzz around the game ahead of its global launch later this year and as it grows around the world. Boldspace will work with UFL to reach consumer and B2B audiences globally. The agency, which set up a sports division last year, also works with clients including iGaming brand BetMGM and sports blockchain business Chiliz.

LONDON — Paris-based luxury luggage brand Kabuto has appointed PR firm Munch, part of the Stakked collective, as its creative agency for the UK. Munch will be activating the brand’s ‘Dare to Expand’ platform and launching several A-list co-designed collections over the coming year.

LONDON — Functional drinks brand Plenish has hired Taylor Herring to create and execute a communications strategy and activation for its range of vitamin shots. The Little Shot Shop campaign went live last week across the UK market, with St Marks Studios supporting with content production and social media content. The account is led by CEO James Herring.

LONDON — Hand Picked Hotels, a collection of luxury country houses and coastal retreats in the UK and Channel Islands, has appointed Sunny Side Up as its UK retained agency. Sunny Side Up’s brief includes corporate, trade and consumer comms activities to highlight how Hand Picked Hotels creates unique stays with a personalised service. The account will be led by MD Zoe Ward-Waring, reporting into head of PR & marketing Julia Gosling and creative marketing director Melanie Nicholas.

LONDON — Richmond & Towers has been appointed by Natural Balance Foods and Urban Fresh Foods – part of the Lotus Bakeries group – to oversee and accelerate earned media for its healthier snacking brands Nākd, Trek and Bear. The employee-owned, B Corp PR and social agency will lead consumer and trade communications for the brands.

LONDON — WhoCanFixMyCar, a UK online marketplace for servicing and repairs, has appointed Hard Numbers as its new PR agency. WhoCanFixMyCar connects over 800,000 drivers a month with local mechanics, mobile technicians and dealerships. Hard Numbers will drive WhoCanFixMyCar’s PR and marketing efforts to drive brand awareness amongst consumers and businesses in the UK.

LONDON — Independent PR, digital and creative agency The PHA Group has been appointed by Henley Royal Regatta to manage the press office for this summer’s event. The appointment sees The PHA Group managing the press office in the build up to the event, as well as on-the-ground during the week of the Regatta, whilst raising the profile of the athletes taking part.

LONDON — WX Brands has appointed Clarion Communications as its social media agency for Bread & Butter Wines in the UK and Europe.
