LONDON — Splendid Communications has been appointed as lead PR agency for a newly announced partnership between Quaker Oats and Team GB (pictured). Quaker Oats is an official for Team GB athletes as they prepare for the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games and the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. The agency has also been appointed to lead on a social media brief for second-hand marketplace Gumtree. Splendid will be responsible for delivering strategy and video content for the brand on Meta and YouTube. The campaign, featuring home renovation creators, will re-energise Gumtree’s brand identity as the go-to platform for second-hand buying and selling.

PARIS — The Future is Neutral, a Renault Group subsidiary dedicated to the circular economy, has appointed Jin to manage its corporate communications. as well as its presence on social media. The organisation joins Schneider Electric, Crédit Agricole SA, EDF, Accor, SNCF, Ferrero, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson on Jin’s client roster.

LONDON — Specialist travel and hospitality PR agency Lotus has been appointed to lead the PR and communications programme for The Cruise Globe in the UK after a competitive pitch. The agency’s communication strategy will focus on raising brand awareness for The Cruise Globe – a digital platform that shows the routes of historical cruises – across the UK through press office and thought leadership. The team will be led by Lotus director Katie Wright, with the client joining a growing cruise sector roster, alongside Cruise Saudi, AROYA Cruises, Expedition Cruise Network and Scenic Cruises.

LONDON — Consumer agency The Heard, founded by former The Romans MD Roxy Kalha in 2023, has been appointed as PR agency of record for Waitrose after a competitive pitch. The agency takes over from Finn Partners, which has worked with the John Lewis Partnership retailer for 17 years. The Heard’s communications programme includes consumer-facing campaigns and press office across product, brand, sustainability and purpose.

AMSTERDAM — Finn Partners has been named by Delta Air Lines as its first PR agency for Europe, working alongside its in-house communications teams in Amsterdam and Atlanta. Finn Partners’ travel practice in the UK and Germany, with partner agencies in France and the Netherlands, will be responsible for implementing the airline’s PR and communications strategy for the UK and key Continental European markets. The agency will deliver brand awareness-raising corporate and consumer communications including press office, digital amplification, events, partnerships and thought leadership.

The partnership will see Rooster spearheading media relations, thought leadership, and brand awareness campaigns for Trip.com across key European markets including the UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy. LONDON —  Ready10 has been appointed as the retained consumer PR agency for Lime, the world’s largest shared electric vehicle company, after completing project work in 2024.  The agency will work on brand affinity and consumer campaigns for Lime, spanning PR, social, influencer and experiential activation, supported by an ongoing media relations programme.

MANCHESTER —Brazen has been awarded an extended six-figure brief from Sudocrem: a year after being appointed as the retained PR agency for the antiseptic healing cream, Brazen is now the brand’s partner for social, influencer and content production, after a competitive pitch process. The agency’s Influence division, headed up by Mark Dandy, will be responsible for delivering strategic social media organic and paid plans, producing content through its content production department, Brazen Live, and running always-on influencer strategies, working with the agency’s 35-strong PR team.

MANCHESTER — PR and social media agency Smoking Gun has won a project from international consumer goods giant PZ Cussons for its Original Source shower gel brand, following a three-way competitive pitch. The fully integrated PR and social media campaign includes supercharging social media content, mega influencer activation and a stunt. The campaign will run alongside wider marcomms work including an above the line ad campaign called Nature Hits Different.

LONDON — The International Wine & Spirits Competition has appointed Clarion Communications as its retained PR agency following a competitive pitch. The WPP-owned agency, which has offices in London and Scotland, will be responsible for PR and influencer communications for the awarding body.
