LONDON — Tourism Australia has hired One Green Bean to handle UK PR on a three-year retainer as Australia gets ready to re-open its borders to travellers this month. The agency’s brief is to create campaigns and initiatives to support marketing activities in the UK, working with Tourism Australia to support its aim for Australia to become the “most memorable and desirable destination on earth”. The account was previously held by Hope&Glory.
LONDON — Factmata, a start-up tackling online misinformation, has appointed performance-driven marketing and communications consultancy Hard Numbers as its lead PR agency. The artificial intelligence platform (pictured) identifies online opinions about brands, products or issues, clusters similar opinions into narratives and analyses how threatening or risky they are, as well as identifying influencers and monitoring how narratives grow and change over time. Hard Numbers’ remit includes thought leadership and content creation designed to build greater awareness of Factmata’s technology, while driving traffic and leads from in-house comms professionals, PR agencies, NGOs, charities and journalists.
LONDON — Global smart wearable brand Amazfit has appointed Pangolin as its lead communications agency on a retained basis, after a competitive pitch. The Pangolin team will look after Amazfit’s press office function alongside larger-scale brand campaigns, product launches and media relations as the brand looks to drive awareness and brand perception in the UK, as well as supporting PR across Europe.

The move follows Platform completing a project to create new strategic messaging for Red Bee. Red Bee’s services range from delivering accessible broadcasts of major sporting events to launching new streaming services and ensuring that content is available and monetised all over the world.
LONDON – Technology company Reskube has appointed Boldspace to position and build a brand for its new remote working resilience product, which constantly monitors the supply of home internet and power and provides back up if either drop out. The brand building, communications and analytics agency will launch Reskube and its vision for connectivity to be constant, secure and seamless for remote workers everywhere, targeting employers and IT teams managing hybrid workforces, and remote teams working in locations such as outside broadcast units or mobile vaccination centres.
GLOUCESTER, UK — Creative consumer agency Radioactive has won five new clients. Sudeley Castle & Gardens has appointed the agency for PR in 2022 after a competitive pitch, including launching visitor attractions and highlighting sustainability efforts. Plant-based pet food brand Omni has instructed Radioactive to deliver digital PR in 2022, while online building materials marketplace Materials Market is working with the agency on digital and brand PR, as well as influencer and performance marketing. Radioactive is also running performance marketing campaigns for women's health platform Naytal and an influencer marketing pilot for an NHS trust in England.

LONDON — Boutique entertainment and lifestyle communications agency Full Fat, which works across six core areas – major events & festivals, fashion & lifestyle, food & drink, bars, clubs & restaurants, travel & tourism and videogame & technology – has picked up two new clients: pop-up brand Neverland, which is bringing a slice of Japanese Spring to London with its Little Kyoto pop-up until May, including a blossom-filled pagoda and Japanese street food; and social discovery app Azar, which is hosting its first UK event to combat loneliness on 14 February.
