LONDON — Brunswick is integrating MerchantCantos, its creative communications agency, into the business. From January 1, 2022, MerchantCantos will become Brunswick Creative Campaigns and Content. MerchantCantos, which specialises in branding, employee engagement, investor communications and sustainability, employs around 150 people in London, New York, San Francisco, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong and Singapore.

LONDON — 3 Monkeys Zeno is the first PR agency to sign up to Hundo (pictured), a social impact company that aims to solve youth unemployment and boost DE&I. Employer partners work through three ‘Career Collab’ phases designed to change how they recruit, including industry benchmarking and access to a pool of Gen Z talent who are looking to enter the communications industry. The partnership follows 3 Monkeys Zeno setting diversity targets of a minimum 20% Black and minority ethnic representation by 2023 and a minimum 25% in 2024, across all levels of the agency.

LONDON — Digital agency Rise at Seven, founded by Carrie Rose and Stephen Kenwright in June 2019, is opening a new permanent office in London. The move follows the agency’s recent expansion to Manchester after 190% growth in the last year and signing 25 new clients in the last three months, including Tough Mudder, Boohoo & BoohooMAN and Justmylook. The agency now has 110 staff with 15 employees currently in the new London office.

LONDON — Pan-European consumer technology, b2b technology and gaming specialist Ranieri Agency has been appointed by AI technology company Mobvoi on a PR and communications multi-market brief across the UK, France, Germany and Poland, with further European territories to follow. Mobvoi’s technologies cover areas such as speech recognition, natural language understanding and vertical search, and its consumer wearables include TicWatch smartwatches, TicPods and Mobvoi Earbuds. Ranieri Agency’s remit includes treadmill, smartwatch and headphone products.

AMSTERDAM — PressPage, the Dutch commstech platform for streamlining corporate communications and PR work, has raised an additional €2 million in funding, including investment from current investor, Capital Mills, as well as management participation. Headquartered in Amsterdam and with offices in the US, UK and Germany, PressPage works with corporate communications professionals around the world, including at Booking.com, KLM, Mercedes-Benz, DP World, State Farm and T-Mobile.

BARNSLEY — Bigfoot Digital has been hired by electrical wholesaler YESSS Electrical to drive online growth through digital PR, PPC, and onsite SEO channels. The digital agency also recently recruited a new head of SEO, Lizzie Lewington from Jaywing.
