LONDON — Jargon PR has been appointed by marketing company Convertize to deliver a campaign aiming to raise the profile of the London-based company. Convertize is a retail tech provider that offers a persuasion-based optimization platform alongside conversion rate optimization services. The company aims to apply neuroscience expertise to marketing challenges. The focus of the campaign is to drive engagement with the brand and an understanding of the role neuroscience can play in marketing through thought leadership, profiling and news. 

JOHANNESBURG — Vuma Reputation Management has signed memorandums of understanding with four leading African communications agencies including Kenya's BSD Group, Ethiopia's Zeleman, Ghana's Prosper Agbenyega, and Zambia's Design Innovation. Signing with the partners aims to give Vuma a strong presence in East, West and Southern Africa. Through the Vuma Training Academy, Vuma will transfer skills and knowledge to help develop a pool of African communications professionals and reputation managers to ensure that companies operating on the continent receive excellent services. 

BEDFORDSHIRE — Technical Associates Group (TAG) has been appointed by automated food inspection technology company Mettler-Toledo Inspection as its integrated PR agency in Europe and Asia-Pacific. The decision was made following a competitive pitch process which included two other agencies. TAG is tasked with offering the company strategic consultancy and implementing an international campaign-based PR program in the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands and English speaking areas of Asia and the Pacific.

WARSAW — Contulting'nMore has become a partner in IPREX, a $380m network of communications agencies with 1,600 staff and 110 offices worldwide. The agency was founded in 2010 by CEO Jakub Zajdel and has developed a portfolio of integrated communication services across a range of industries including pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, furniture, finance, IT, professional services, retail and manufacturing.

LYON — Pharmaceutical company Poxel has appointed Kumi Sato, president and CEO of Cosmo Public Relations Corporation, to its board of directors. Sato has over 30 years experience advising companies in business and communications strategy with a  particular focus on Japanese business strategies for healthcare companies. Sato has led Tokyo-based Cosmo, a strategic communications and public affairs firm, for over three decades. Prior to that, she founded Cosmo International, which advised Japanese companies on US market entry strategies. 

LONDON — Digital collaboration platform provider for sustainable business 2degrees has appointed Bottle to increase its profile within the trade and national media, for its platforms Manufacture 2030 and Innovations Gateway. Bottle is tasked with driving consideration and awareness of 2degrees' platforms and use its newsroom function to react to real time news regarding sustainability matters.
