LONDON — Eva Young has joined Sard Verbinnen & Co.’s London office as a VP. Young most recently worked for Edelman’s London operation, where she served as director/chief of staff to the agency’s CEO of Europe. Before that, she was an account director on Brunswick’s financial services team.
LONDON — Technical Associates Group, or TAG, has extended its engineering marketing research to include France and Spain. The research, “Digging Deeper into the Engineering Mind,” will include a survey of 1,000 engineers French and Spanish engineers, who will be asked about how they find, use and engage with content. The initial research, launched in January, covered the UK, Germany and Italy.
LONDON — The fashion industry’s Pretty Little Thing, Gucci and Louis Vuitton, the Chinese liquor Maotai and Netflix were the world’s fastest-growing brands with consumers in 2017, according to a report from Aaron Wallis, the sales recruitment firm. When it came to B2B brands, Tencent, Baidu, Sales Force, DHL Express and Accenture topped the list. The study, based on Google search analytics, found that a number of Chinese brands scored high, with interest growing 10% year-over-year, and consumers increasingly start the search-and-buy process online, the firm said.
