ZURICH—Burson-Marsteller has appointed Tim Frey as the new head of its public affairs practice and a member of the executive board. From April 2009 until June 2011, Frey was general secretary of the Swiss CVP political party, responsible for the leadership of the central staff and the organization and the management of the party. Earlier, he worked as a research fellow and lecturer at the Institute for Political Studies at the University of Zurich, focussing on the voting and party-political system, on conflicts associated with social structure, and on the processes associated with democratisation.

STOCKHOLM—Stefan Stern, currently senior advisor, has been named to the additional role of head of corporate relations and communications at Investor, the Swedish holding company—its businesses include ABB and Ericsson—owned by the Wallenberg family. He will continue in his present role within public affairs and also assume the responsibilities of Oscar Stege Unger, who will leave Investor to assume a new position as director network and communications at FAM.

LONDON—Bed manufacturer and retailer Dreams has appointed Fever as its new retained integrated PR and social agency. Fever, which is part of the Nelson Bostock Group, was selected following a tender process and a competitive pitch between four agencies. The brief covers an integrated PR and social remit, with Fever's sister agency, Things With Wings, tasked to deliver social strategy and community management for Dreams.

PARIS—French public relations firm Cap & Cime PR has acquired e-reputation agency Vecteur d’Image. The combined firm will have 25 employees and almost 60 clients—including Auchan, Beghin Say, Burelle, France Boissons, KPMG, Les Nouveaux Constructeurs, le Ministère du Développement durable, Plastic Omnium, Sandwich & Snack Show, Simply Market, RFF, Robert Walters—enough to rank Cap & Cime among the top 10 firms in France.

LONDON—Albion Drive has appointed Telegraph enterprise editor James Hurley as director of content strategy. Hurley will join the senior Albion Drive management team and will be responsible for news and content strategy development across the agency, as well as leading on new business and agency growth alongside agency Director Bryce Keane.
