LONDON - Following a four-way competitive pitch, Hill+Knowlton Strategies has been appointed as the communications agency for Autoglass, a leading vehicle glass repair and replacement company. H+K has been selected on a retained basis to handle the consumer, digital and B2B communications for Autoglass and its parent company Belron. The firm will raise awareness of the business among the fleet and insurance industries while building on the company’s use of social media platforms and consumer brand work.

LONDON—Thorpe Park, part of the Merlin Entertainments Group, has appointed global social media agency We Are Social as its social media agency of record. The agency will initially undertake an audit of Thorpe Park's social media channels and the wider social media landscape within the recreation and entertainment sector and will then develop an ongoing social media strategy, including a content strategy and crisis management plan.

LONDON—Nelson Bostock Communications has appointed Sarah Moloney to its board. Moloney has more than 16 years of experience at leading agencies including Text100 and most recently GolinHarris, where she was a director and co-led the technology practice and client community in London. She has led global, EMEA and national campaigns for Oracle, Microsoft, Ricoh, Kodak and Plantronics. She also co-founded amplifier Group and helped grow the agency through client wins including Ricoh, Pure Technology and Naim Audio.

LONDON—Ogilvy Public Relations/London has appointed Robin Lacey as director in its content practice. Previously, Lacey was creative director at PLA Studios, a game development studio, where in addition to general management of the company, he oversaw the development of mobile and digital entertainment for organisations such as Universal and the Ministry of Defence.

LONDON—Thinkhouse, a youth communications agency based in Ireland, has opened its first overseas office in the UK. The firm has picked up two pieces of business in the UK from its existing client base, providing social media management for Goodfella's Pizza UK and social media consultancy for Movember. The UK operation is headed up by Emily Cramp, a long-standing member of Thinkhouse's senior management team in Dublin.

LONDON—Kellogg has appointed Pagefield to support its public affairs activity. The firm will provide public affairs advice and implementation for Kellogg's "Give A Child A Breakfast" campaign and the 75th anniversary of the company's manufacturing presence in the UK. The Pagefield team will be led by partner Lucy Burns.

AYLESBURY—Ranieri Communications, a specialist in consumer technology PR and social media, has been appointed by SteelSeries, the leading manufacturer of premium-quality gaming peripherals, to manage the ongoing PR campaign for its range of products. Ranieri will be responsible for UK PR, driving awareness for gaming accessories including the Flux in-ear headphones, Apex and Apex Raw keyboards launched at CES, mice, controllers, surfaces and software.

LONDON—Aspectus has appointed James Reynolds to the role of account manager in its financial services PR practice. Reynolds has experience in financial services, energy, technology, law, and professional services, most recently at Lansons Communications, where he supported a number of clients including ETP provider ETF Securities, the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry, and Cavendish Asset Management.
