BRUSSELS—FTI Consulting has added Massimo Baldinato, John Clancy, Kyra Obolensky and Roeland Van der Stappen as senior directors; Robrecht Vandormael as director; Maria Tsoni as senior consultant; and Matilda Wallmon as consultant, bringing its team in Brussels to 60 consultants. Baldinato is a former member of the cabinet of Antonio Tajani, who formerly served as the vice president of the European Commission. Clancy previously served as the spokesperson to former European Union trade commissioner Karel De Gucht. Obolensky has more than nine years of experience in corporate communications, political communications and public affairs; Van der Stappen most recently served as policy adviser at the European Round Table of Industrialists.

LONDON—Hill+Knowlton Strategies has launched a people and purpose practice under the leadership of Laura House. The new practice will provide employee advocacy, employer brand development and internal publishing strategies for a number of consumer and corporate brands. The team will also provide strategic internal communications and change management counsel and will replace the current change and internal communications practice. The unit has also expanded with the addition of two specialist consultants, Eloise Hindes (formerly of AB Communications) and Kitty Gordon (who joins from Which? Consumer's Association).

LONDON—Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution (TCFTVD) has promoted Victoria Marcroft to vice president of its marketing, promotion and publicity department. Based in TCFTVD’s London office, Marcroft is responsible for implementing series launches and marketing campaigns across multiple platforms for the company’s broadcast clients throughout the EMEA region. She will also continue to manage EMEA markets and events.

AMSTERDAM—Media company Sanoma has named Sandra van Vreedendaal as chief communication officer, reporting to Sanoma Group president and CEO Harri-Pekka Kaukonen. Van Vreedendaal, a Dutch national, joins Sanoma from The Walt Disney Company, where she served most recently as vice president, regional communications. Prior to joining Disney in 2006, she held a variety of pan-European PR and corporate communications roles with technology companies including Cisco Systems.

LONDON—Weber Shandwick has been appointed by the United Nations Volunteers to coordinate media and stakeholder launch events coinciding with publication of the second State of the World’s Volunteerism Report in summer 2015. 

LUXEMBOURG—PROI Worldwide has added Distinct Communication in Luxembourg to its membership to provide more comprehensive coverage in the EMEA region. Distinct Communication is a strategic communications and change management consultancy serving clients in Luxembourg and Wallonia.

LONDON—Golin has appointed Kate Miller as the agency's first head of media to lead its “connector” community. Miller will join Golin in May from client William Hill, reporting directly to Bibi Hilton, UK managing director. She has spent the last seven years at William Hill, including three as PR director.

LONDON—Golf brand TaylorMade-adidas Golf has appointed global social media agency We Are Social as its strategic and creative social media agency in Europe. We Are Social will work with TaylorMade-adidas Golf to produce creative ideas led by social thinking, devising a new editorial and art direction strategy for the brand in Europe. The agency will also work with TaylorMade-adidas Golf to produce photography and video assets of its biggest players for use across its social channels.

BRIGHTON—Rachael Evans, former global marketing manager for PWC's entertainment and media group, has joined Man Bites Dog in a senior consultancy role. Evans has held senior marketing roles at PwC—where she was responsible for one of the firm's largest thought leadership campaigns: the 
Global Entertainment and Media Outlook—and Grant Thornton.

LONDON—Sarah Long, head of corporate communications at VisitEngland, has joined Beattie Communications to lead Only Travel, its travel PR, social and digital boutique. News of her arrival coincides with the agency winning an international project from bus and train giant Arriva.

WIESBADEN—Fink & Fuchs PR has been awarded a contract to develop and execute public relations activities on behalf of the federal administration, including all Federal Ministries and subordinate authorities.

LONDON—Mischief PR has been appointed as the International PR agency for Paddy's Bathroom, a new organic and natural children's toiletry range created by Ella's Kitchen founder Paul Lindley. Mischief will be handling the PR launch of Paddy's Bathroom and providing ongoing counsel on the brand's traditional and digital marketing campaign in the USA and UK. 

LONDON—Atomic has been appointed by security specialist, RiskIQ, following a competitive pitch. The agency has been tasked with rapidly building awareness of the firm and educating target audiences about the benefits of its unique approach to security in the UK. 

LONDON—Virgo Health has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Tom Griffiths as head of digital. Griffiths joins from Care UK and will lead Virgo Health’s digital offer across the Rx, consumer health and wellbeing, and health education divisions.
