LONDON — Brands2Life has appointed Simon Monaghan (pictured) as managing director, creative services and delivery. He joins from WPP where, as head of delivery at JWT, he oversaw all agency creative operations, processes and output. He has also worked in senior operations roles within Publicis Groupe and independent agencies. Monaghan will join the Brands2Life board and be responsible for the management of the creative services team of 20 creatives, designers, planners, producers, strategists and technologists and the delivery of integrated work.

LONDON — UK bed retailer Dreams has appointed M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment to activate its Team GB partnership around the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. After a competitive pitch in December 2019, the agency will deliver an integrated campaign to bring to life Dreams’ role as the Official Sleep Partner of Team GB. Multi-channel activation throughout the year will feature Dreams’ Olympic athlete ambassadors, including track cyclists Laura and Jason Kenny, gymnast Max Whitlock, taekwondo champion Jade Jones and hockey captain Maddie Hinch.

GLOUCESTER, UK — Radioactive PR, founded by Rich Leigh in 2014, has restructured its leadership team. Angharad Planells, who joined in 2016 as an account director, is being promoted to head of client services, with measurement coming under her remit. Jade Beddington, who joined the agency in 2018 as a communications strategist, becomes the agency’s head of new business and client strategy. Lydia Bryant, one of the agency’s first hires, has been promoted to account director.

LONDON — Milk & Honey PR has been appointed by Health Exchange, a physical, mental health and wellbeing social-enterprise, to manage all the company’s communications as it expands across the UK. The agency will be responsible for developing Health Exchange’s presence with local communities throughout the UK and supporting its recruitment goals. The brief spans corporate relations, community engagement and social media. The team will be led by associate partner, Francesca O'Connor.

LONDON — Endurance sport PR specialist Fusion Media has been appointed by Green Media Lab and the Safilo Group to handle the PR and influencer brief for Smith Optics in the UK. Based in Idaho, Smith Optics are pioneers of outdoor equipment for snow sports, mountain biking and road cycling, including helmets, sunglasses and goggles. Fusion Media’s brief is to lead on PR strategy in the UK, with the aim of growing brand awareness with the use of PR and influencer marketing.

LONDON — Instinct PR is working with M&S Food to launch one of the retailer’s biggest campaigns of 2020, Little Garden, with an influencer campaign and educational schools tour to encourage children to grow vegetables, flowers and herbs.
