LONDON—Cicero Group has appointed Iain Anderson as its new executive chairman. Anderson, the current director and chief corporate counsel and co-founder of the business, will focus on strategy and continuing the ongoing development of the agency and will continue to provide counsel to Cicero’s UK and international client base. Former chairman Stephen Knight has chaired the board since 2008.

BRUSSELS—Hanover has hired Claudia La Donna to head its digital policy offering in Brussels. La Donna, who previously led the ICT team of the Brussels-based public affairs consultancy The Centre and set-up and managed the EU Government Relations office of Sky Italia in Brussels, most recently worked as an independent consultant. Prior to this she gained first-hand experience inside the European Commission working for three years in DG Information Society.

LONDON—International social media agency We Are Social has appointed Lise Pinnell as head of strategy. Pinnell will lead We Are Social’s strategy department, working across its entire client portfolio, which includes adidas, HSBC and Heineken. Lise joins We Are Social from AnalogFolk where she was head of strategy. She also spent three years at JWT as planning director preceded by three years as a senior planner at Poke.

LONDON—Bite has appointed Matt Whiting as its new head of digital, and Steve Gradidge as digital and social media consultant. Whiting will lead the team of community managers and be responsible for further productising Bite's digital offering. He joins Bite from the US, where he worked for Waggener Edstrom leading digital and social strategy team for clients such as Microsoft, T-Mobile, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Infosys. Gradidge wasa digital lecturer for the Digital Marketing Institute.
