LONDON — Powerscourt has appointed former Telegraph economics editor Russ Lynch as a director, to provide strategic advice to clients across the business. Before joining the Telegraph in 2019, Lynch was at the Evening Standard for nine years, latterly as deputy city editor.

FRANKFURT — Kerstin Liehr-Gobbers (pictured) has joined Teneo as a managing director to head sustainability and ESG work in Germany, where the consultancy has offices in Frankfurt and Berlin. For the past 10 years, Liehr-Gobbers has advised clients on sustainable corporate governance and stakeholder engagement as an associate partner at international strategy consultancy Reputation Inc in London.

FRANKFURT — US financial services provider Citi Group has hired Philipp Encz as head of public affairs for Europe and Germany. Encz started his professional career as a journalist at Bloomberg in New York, before moving into communications. He has led financial and corporate media relations at Siemens Group and was most recently head of creative, internal and external communications at Airbus.

LONDON — Kenyon International Emergency Services, the emergency planning and incident response specialist that is part of global aviation services group Air Partner, has appointed former ITV News correspondent Mike Pearse as an associate director of crisis communications. He joins a 13-strong team of communications directors, which provides executive counsel and direct support to communications departments handling major incidents.

LONDON — Food and farming supply chain PR agency Pinstone has expanded its board with the promotion of Helen Maiden and Hannah Lloyd to board director (operations) and board director (marketing), respectively. Former Lexis PR CEO Margot Raggett, who has been working with the agency for eight years, has also joined Pinstone’s board as a non-executive director.
