SANTA CLARA, CA— Emma McCulloch joins Chegg as director of corporate communications, as the ed-tech player expands its PR team. 

McCulloch, who will report into Marc Boxser, VP of communications and policy, was most recently at Boomi, Dell's data management business. She has previously spent four years in-house at HP. 

In the newly created director role, McCulloch will lead all aspects of corporate communications, including executive communications, internal communications, employee branding.

Founded in 2005, Chegg is best known for textbook rentals and its online education services and has been traded on the NYSE since 2013. After the Covid-19 hit, the company saw a surge in its stock price and nearly doubled its subscriptions.
