NEW YORK — 160over90, the in-house marketing unit of entertainment holding group Endeavor, has been named communications agency of record for the New York Women's Foundation.

The assignment follows a competitive review. While there was no specific incumbent for the business, the Foundation continues to work with a number of PR consultants on specific initiatives.

As an organization dedicated to investing in women-led, community-based solutions that promote the economic security, safety, and health of women and families in New York City, the New York Women's Foundation has a lengthy history of investing in women’s economic security and supporting movements that confront gender violence.

In particular, its fund for the #MeToo movement and allies, developed in consultation with #MeToo founder Tarana Burke, is a critical investment in organizations led by, for and about survivors of sexual violence to help many reach justice and healing.

160over90 is responsible for the Foundation’s media relations strategy, thought leadership, social media and influencer strategy, and narrative development, with the goal of generating greater awareness around the mission of the nonprofit and shining a light on its leaders, grantees and philanthropic efforts. The account is run from 160over90’s New York office.

"This is an inspiring and collaborative partnership between the Foundation and 160over90,” said Samantha Stark, EVP for communications at 160over90. "There is a fundamental need for the dynamic work they’ve done to advance progress around issues of housing and immigration justice, education access, and LGBTQ rights for women and underinvested communities."

The new business comes after Endeavor rebranded its global marketing unit as 160over90 last year, adopting the name of the Philadelphia-based agency it acquired in 2018. The unit’s clients include AB InBev, Audi, Dick’s Sporting Goods, HSBC, Lightlife, Marriott International and Visa, with around 800 employees spanning advertising, branding, experiential, brand partnerships, PR and communications.
