NEW YORK — Healthcare consultancy Evoke has rebranded as Inizio Evoke, a move that comes in tandem with unifying the company’s divisions into a more cohesive operation.

Under the new name, Inizio Evoke will provide a more integrated approach to its five areas of expertise including marketing, comms, transformation, media and access, with the goal of further connecting global capabilities and solutions.

The consultancy brings together Evoke North America, Evoke Europe and Evoke Mind+Matter UK, whose expertise will be combined to deliver full-service brand marketing, advertising and creative capabilities for clients, the company said.

Specialty agencies under Inizio Evoke include Inizio Evoke Drive, which offers full-service marketing and creative capabilities; Inizio Evoke Comms, which offers global health communications across pharma, biopharma, biotech and non-profit; Incisive Health, a healthcare policy and comms consultancy focused on the UK, European and international markets; Inizio Evoke Transformation, which focuses on customer experiences and cross-platform content; and Evolution Road, which provides counsel on practical marketing and solutions that deliver investment impact.

Specialists also include Inizio Evoke Access, which focuses on market and patient access and patient support expertise; and Inizio Evoke Media, which offers full-service global health media capabilities.

“Building on our decades-long legacy of innovation, creativity, and impact in healthcare, our new unified brand reflects our commitment to our clients,” said CEO Reid Connolly. “It is a natural evolution that removes barriers to collaboration and allows us to continue to deliver against the needs of our clients while leading change in the dynamic healthcare market.

“Under the banner of our bold new Inizio Evoke brand, we are better equipped to tap into Inizio’s global powerhouse as a leader in the pharma and life sciences industry, providing seamless access to the full Inizio platform and expertise across advisory, medical, engage, and biotech. This ensures our clients have access to the latest cutting-edge solutions along with a partner that is fully invested in their success. I have never been more confident about our ability to help our clients navigate the evolving healthcare landscape, now and far into the future,” Connelly said.

The rebrand is the latest step in the evolution of Inizio, which was launched in June when Evoke and Ashfield Health, which are both owned by US private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, merged, creating a 1,400-person global operation.

Since that time, the two firms have been operating as Evoke, the Huntsworth firm founded and run by Connolly.

The merger followed CD&R’s acquisition of Evoke parent company Huntsworth for around £400 million in 2020 and Ashfield parent company UDG Healthcare 2021.
