PRAGUE — Ewing Public Relations has refreshed its corporate identity and structure after 25 years in business, including naming four new partners.
The Czech independent agency will now be known simply as Ewing, and long-term senior employees Radka Hrstková, Martin Jaroš, Jan Sedláček and Ondřej Pechar have become newest partners in the business.
At the same time, Ondřej Kubala, who has been a partner with Ewing for more than 10 years, is leaving the firm to undertake new projects outside PR and communications.
Managing partner Jakub Hrabovský said: “All four new partners are talented and ambitious communication professionals with a true entrepreneurial spirit. We’ve worked together on dozens of excellent campaigns and their appointment is proof there is no glass ceiling at Ewing.”
Hrabovský added: “We of course understand and respect Ondřej’s need to change the direction of his career and wish him all the best in his professional life.” Kubala said: “I spent a brilliant 10 years with Ewing, but I’ve decided it’s time to embark on a new journey and try something new.”
Along with its new ownership structure, Ewing has undergone a rebrand, including a new logo website and portfolio. Managing partner Pavlína Rieselová said: “We’ve been tremendously proud to call ourselves PR professionals, but our organisation today goes well past PR.
“We are first and foremost reputation and strategic communications consultants whose mission is to find solutions for any problem. We have worked hard to fully integrate creative, content, and digital into our portfolio of services and while we still do great PR, we offer a myriad of other diverse services as well.”
Ewing, which is a member of the PROI global network of independent agencies, is one of the largest agencies in the Czech Republic. It was named as PRovoke Media’s Eastern Europe Consultancy of the Year in 2018.
