LONDON – FleishmanHillard Fishburn has been appointed by Ferrero UK & Ireland as its corporate communications and public affairs agency after a competitive pitch that initially involved more than five agencies.

Ferrero, which produces brands including Kinder Surprise, Ferrero Rocher, Nutella, Tic Tac and Thorntons, has had double digit growth across UK and Ireland over the past five years and plans to continue this level of growth over the next five years.

The family-owned company recently appointed Tin Man to its consumer agency roster. Cirkle works with the brand on its trade account.

The FHF team, with experts from the agency’s PA, corporate, social and crisis teams, will report into Ferrero’s director of corporate affairs and communications Charlie Cayton.
