SINGAPORE — Finn Partners has bolstered its Asian leadership team, naming new managing partners in Singapore and Shanghai.
Naeema Ismail has been named Finn’s Singapore managing partner, as which she will oversee the firm’s operations in the agency’s regional headquarters. Ismail (pictured) has been working under Finn Partners since April 2017, when the agency first expanded into Asia-Pacific with the acquisition of Ying Communications. She has been a Ying senior partner and general manager since 2013.
In China, Jenny Lo has been promoted to managing partner from general manager. In her new role, Lo is responsible for client and talent acquisition in the market, where Finn has had a presence for a dozen years.
Ismail and Lo’s promotions come amidst other changes in Finn’s management in Asia, which include Singapore-based managing partners (and Ying founders) Allan Tan and Yin Ching Yeap becoming executive advisors for Asia. Managing partner Cathy Feliciano-Chon (founder of Hong Kong firm CatchOn, which Finn bought in 2019) will continue to be responsible for the agency’s offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
“Asia is a very important region for Finn and we continue to look for opportunities to grow our presence here, both organically and through strategic acquisitions,” said CEO Peter Finn. “We are especially excited about the world-class talent that we’ve found here — people who do amazing work for clients every day and live by our value of ‘work hard, play nice.’ Naeema and Jenny are two great examples of this, and we are thrilled to have them step up to help us build a brighter, better future for Finn and our clients.”
