NEW YORK — Finn Partners has promoted Nicole Cottrill, most recently Southeast healthcare group co-leader, to head of the agency's health provider services group.

In the newly-created national position, Cottrill will serve as a senior counselor for clients in the group, including hospitals, healthcare systems, physicians' practices, long-term and acute care providers and specialists.

Cottrill, who is also a senior partner, will report to both global health practice managing partner Gil Bashe and Finn Southeast managing partner Beth Courtney.

Cottrill joined Finn Partners in 2015 with its acquisition of Nashville-based Seigenthaler Public Relations, where she was a partner. She is now based in Pittsburgh.

“(Nicole’s) leadership in the health provider services sector has become a force for demonstrating our mission and growth,” Bashe said.

"The pandemic has brought the multiple communications challenges facing this nation’s fragmented health ecosystem to the fore," he said. “Nicole is recognized by health provider executives for addressing those challenges with proven ability to elevate institutional thought leadership, champion brand and economic value, manage complex crises, and address how provider organizations must serve as beacons of patient care under all conditions."
