BUENOS AIRES — Influence in the Covid era is the theme of the inaugural Americas conference from the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA), with speakers from across Latin America, as well as the US and other regions.

The virtual event – being held this Thursday, December 10 – includes a candid look at the future role of Latin America in global brand, creative and communications discourse, with a session entitled ‘Is The Future Latino?’ featuring H+K Strategies country manager for Colombia Paula Restrepo Feo; Arko Advice partner Lucas de Aragao; and Guinness World Records’ Latin America PR manager Alice Pagan.

Other sessions at the event, which is supported by GlobalNews Group and PRovoke Media, cover behavioural science, influencer marketing, leadership, data as a business development tool, social media metrics and measurement. Speakers come from agencies and in-house communications teams including Unilever, Brunswick São Paulo, H+K Strategies Latin America, Edelman, LinkedIn, Virgin Care, Hotwire, AvianWE, Red Consultancy, BeInfluencers, Imagem, InfraCode and Hard Numbers.

Isobel Arrowsmith, the PRCA’s director of the Americas, said: “Both the topics and the speakers for the PRCA Americas Forum are a true reflection of life in the here and now, which is why we are so thrilled to share the experience with our industry.”
