TORONTO — FleishmanHillard HighRoad has launched a peer-to-peer network for clients working in DE&I across industries.

"The good group,"  launched by the agency’s True Mosaic DE&I practice, is designed to be a “safe, intimate space” where professionals implementing DE&I strategies can confidentially discuss challenges and ideas and share resources.

The network is made up of DE&I leaders from industries including technology, media, and financial services.  Membership is complementary for FHR clients.

“Even though there is no lack of passion for DE&I in Canada, we know that those responsible for implementing change are feeling isolated and overwhelmed, and it is only by working together that we can achieve real impact,” said senior VP Jen Anthony, who leads True Mosaic in Canada.

The good group is one of a string of DE&I-related initiatives rolled out since True Mosaic launched in 2020.

The agency recently launched “Fleishman Hillard HighRoad’s DE&I Dilemma POV,” which examines the state of the progression of DE&I in Canada. It also looks at FHR’s journey and the fatigue and isolation many feel currently in implementing DE&I strategies. Clients also are offered workshops focused on bias, inclusive language, responding to racial and social unrest and race and culture.

Said FHR president Angela Carmichael, “By facilitating these connections and bringing DE&I practitioners together for honest discussions, we are eliminating the isolation that companies and leaders are feeling and are able to focus on progress together,”
