HANGZHOU — Former H+K Strategies China CEO QC Liang has departed the firm to join Access Corporate Group as VP.
Liang leaves the WPP firm a few months after he changed roles, following more than five years in which he led H+K's China operations. The arrival of Jun Xu as China CEO in November 2020 saw Liang take on a new position focusing on H+K's operations in the Greater Bay Area.
Access Corporate Group is a brand management company that spans China, Australia and New Zealand. The group focuses on the wellness, health and lifestyle sectors, with a portfolio that includes such names as Vida Glow, Invisible Zinc and Lovekins.
An H+K spokesperson said that firm wished "QC the very best in this exciting new endeavour." Liang himself did not respond to request for comment.
Liang joined the WPP agency in 2016 from TCL Corporation in Shenzhen, where he was assistant president and GM of branding since 2007. He was also the MD of TCL’s media and entertainment business, and secretary general of TCL’s charity foundation.
