DUBAI — Strategic communications agency Manara Global has hired former Downing Street chief press officer Natasha Moor as a senior advisor.

Moor joins the United Arab Emirates-based agency after five years advising former UK prime minister Theresa May and current PM Boris Johnson, including playing a leading role in the UK’s Covid-19 response and working on other national public service issues across health, education and culture.

Before entering central government, Moor worked in the UK parliament as a senior parliamentary researcher. She has also held in media and communications roles in the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Justice.

In her new role at the three-year-old agency, Moor will support clients on purpose, reputation, and long-term communication strategies, working with Manara Global co-founders Robin Gordon-Farleigh, a former Downing Street communications strategist, and former Freuds partner Teri O'Donnell.

O'Donnell said Moor’s hire was part of the agency’s ongoing expansion of senior capacity to meet a growing need in the UAE market for communications counsel and advisory work: “Natasha's experience working at the highest levels of Government adds to our existing strong advisory offer and will be invaluable as we develop this further with our new enhanced offer to best support our clients.”

Gordon- Farleigh added: “We are delighted to have Natasha on board. With over a decade of working in government and the UK parliament, Natasha brings a wealth of experience that will be valued by our growing list of clients.”
