BEIJING — QC Liang has joined Brunswick as a partner in its Beijing office, after leaving H+K Strategies earlier this year.

Liang joined Access Corporate Group as VP earlier this year, following more than five years in which he led H+K's China operations. At Brunswick, he will focus on strategic advisory for Chinese and international clients.

"We are enjoying strong momentum and advising clients on issues that go to the heart of their businesses," said Brunswick Asia-Pacific managing partner Lisa Foley. "QC’s expertise across a range of sectors and practice areas will be extremely valuable to clients in the region and beyond."

Added Liang: "Brunswick has an outstanding reputation for providing the highest quality strategic advice to clients, and I am thrilled to join the firm. I look forward to working with the team to help Chinese and international clients navigate their most critical issues."

The arrival of Jun Xu as H+K Strategies China CEO in November 2020 saw Liang take on a new position focusing on H+K's operations in the Greater Bay Area. Liang joined the WPP agency in 2016 from TCL Corporation in Shenzhen, where he was assistant president and GM of branding since 2007. He was also the MD of TCL’s media and entertainment business, and secretary general of TCL’s charity foundation.
