SINGAPORE — Edelman has hired Jamshed Wadia as vice chair of digital in Asia-Pacific, replacing Matt Collette who has relocated to the firm's Canadian operation.

Wadia, who previously spent 17 years in marketing roles at Intel, reports to Edelman's global chair of digital Tristan Roy, and Asia-Pacific president and CEO Stephen Kehoe.

Wadia's arrival follows the relocation of Matt Collette last month to become head of digital for Edelman Canada and global MD of digital growth.

At Intel, Wadia rose through the ranks of the sales and marketing team to become marketing director for the company's digital marketing and media unit across Asia-Pacific and Japan. He also launched Intel’s first real-time digital hub, before departing the company at the end of 2020.

"Over the past two years, our digital practice has undergone significant growth and transformation under Matt Collette’s leadership, allowing our clients to benefit from industry leading offerings," said Kehoe. "With Jamshed’s impressive track record and leadership skills, we will continue to build on our strength in this domain and provide clients with leading expertise to unlock new growth opportunities with digital."
