LONDON—Former Unilever global corporate comms VP Tim Johns has joined Hudson Sandler as a senior consultant.

Johns arrives after spending the past four years as a partner at the Change Agency. He departed Unilever in 2010, following a five-year stint with the FMCG giant.

At Hudson Sandler, he is charged with helping to build the firm's internal communications, employee engagement and executive communications expertise.

"Tim’s invaluable in-house experience means that he will be able to offer our clients a wealth of strategic insight," said Hudson Sandler CEO Andrew Hayes.

Prior to joining Unilever, Johns held senior communications roles at BT, Homebase and Sainsbury’s.

"The firm has an excellent reputation in the industry, and I’m looking forward to building on the great work that’s already been done, transforming Hudson Sandler from a financial specialist to a full service corporate communications agency," said Johns.

Hudson Sandler’s client portfolio includes Accor, TUI, Greggs, Ted Baker, Saxo Bank, and 888. The agency currently employs 35 people at its London HQ, and recently opened a Hong Kong office.
