WASHINGTON, DC—Four of the world’s leading public relations groups—BCW, Edelman, Omnicom Public Relations Group, and Weber Shandwick—have signed on as Platinum level sponsors for the PRovoke Global Public Relations Summit, which will return to real world in Washington, DC, from October24-26.
The firms are committed to supporting the event—which will take place once again at the historic Watergate Hotel—with premium-level content, with specific keynote speakers to be announced over the next few weeks.
Said Paul Holmes, founder of PRovoke Media, “It is vitally important to us that the world’s largest and most prestigious public relations firms have a high level of involvement with our global event, which brings together industry leaders from around the world to discuss the most challenging and provocative issues facing our profession.”
This year’s event theme is “Radical Values,” focusing on the idea that public relations professionals are responsible for ensuring that their organizations live up to their stated values, and that those values must be meaningful and relevant to increasingly demanding stakeholders. Topics will include diversity and inclusion, disinformation, employee happiness, and geopolitics—particularly the Russian attack on Ukraine.
“Companies are facing more complex issues than ever before, and PR professionals have ascended to the C-suite, where they are offering advice not only on what their organizations need to say but also on how they need to act to build beneficial stakeholder relationships,” said Holmes. “Our role has never been more vital, and PRovoke Global will focus on the challenges ahead and the knowledge and skills we need to meet those challenges.”
Additional partners will be unveiled over the coming weeks, as will a line-up of keynote speakers, panelists and specific topics. In the meantime, our early-bird flash sale, which offers a 33% discount on tickets for the Summit, the accompanying Entrepreneurs’ Forum, and the Global SABRE Awards dinner on October 26, and expires at midnight on July 5.
