NEW YORK — Coca-Cola’s Brian Nick is joining Fox Corporation as CCO.

Nick will be based in Los Angeles and report to chairman and CEO Lachlan Murdoch. He replaces Hope Hicks, who left Fox in February to return to the Trump White House. She had previously worked as White House communications director.

Nick joins Fox from Coca-Cola Consolidated, formerly called the Coca-Cola Bottling Company, where he leads all internal and external communications as VP of communications.

He previously led crisis communications and national media relations for Walmart and served as communications director for the National Republican Senatorial Committee and chief of staff to former US Sen. Elizabeth Dole.

"We're excited to welcome Brian to the FOX team," Murdoch said. "He's a seasoned communicator who brings a wealth of experience from leadership roles in government and corporate America."
