LONDON — FTI Consulting has built out its crisis offer with the launch of a new service giving clients rapid access to additional specialist support from across the firm.

The Crisis+ service will be led by Kate Brader, who joined FTI two years ago and has been made a managing director within its strategic communications segment. She was previously a director at crisis specialist Regester Larkin by Deloitte for 11 years, where she led the Live Response service and cross-functional responses to a number of high-profile cyber incidents.

FTI said the expanded crisis offer would support clients in preparing and managing crises, with strategic communications at the core but adding rapid access to its experts in cybersecurity and data privacy, business transformation, mergers and acquisitions and restructuring.

The service also includes cyber crisis resilience reviews, an on-call service and a dedicated rapid-response team.

Brader said: “Our clients today are operating in an unpredictable and often hostile environment. I am passionate about working with clients to develop their crisis resilience, and I am thrilled to be joining the strategic communications segment to help enhance the traditional crisis communications offering.”

John Waples, EMEA vice chair and head of strategic communications in the UK, added: “Being able to offer this comprehensive support to our clients is an exciting moment. Kate’s appointment emphasises our commitment to providing fully integrated crisis counsel to our clients during these challenging times, I know she will be a tremendous asset to our firm and our clients.”
