LONDON — FTI Consulting has strengthened its strategic communications division’s data and analytics bench with the appointment of Julian Lambertin as managing director and head of data and analytics for EMEA.
Lambertin joins from Weber Shandwick, where he was executive vice president, global strategy and insights.
Based in Germany, Lambertin’s role forms part of the firm’s fast-growing digital and insights practice, which offers reputation analytics, insights and strategy planning to clients across continental Europe and the UK.
At Weber Shandwick, Lambertin led market teams across data science, business consulting and market research. His experience covers the automotive, consumer goods, education, energy, financial services, healthcare, technology and telecommunications industries, as well as non/governmental bodies and the public sector.
Ant Moore, head of the digital and insights practice in the EMEA region within the strategic communications segment at FTI Consulting, said: “As clients are increasingly looking to make sense of an accelerated pace of change in society and with reputation data making even bigger inroads into the boardroom, we are excited to be building on our advanced reputation analytics platform with Julian’s arrival.
“His track record and approach to innovation will further boost our capabilities in the region as we look to evolve our solutions around predictive analytics, reputation measurement, and data-backed messaging and corporate narrative development.”
Lambertin added: “In such an uncertain environment, data is key to delivering actionable recommendations. I am excited to join FTI Consulting and partner with clients to do just that. As business consulting and communications counselling become more intertwined, I am particularly keen to be with a firm that combines the two into one holistic offering.”
