LONDON--Hotwire has been appointed by Fujitsu Semiconductor Europe (FSEU) as the company readies an integrated PR and marketing campaign in the EMEA region.

Hotwire is charged with creating awareness within the electronic developer community, and in core vertical markets such as automotive, industrial and communications.

The firm is teaming up with design and marketing agency Geyer Gestaltung, Werbung & Kommunikation. Hotwire's international team will be coordinated by Hotwire Germany, under the supervision of associate director Florian Hohenauer.

“We have had an extremely long standing and positive relationship with our previous agencies, but after more than 25 years and changing requirements, we felt it was time for a new approach” said Mark Ellins, senior director of common technologies and functions at FSEU. “We are confident that Hotwire will help us achieving our goal to establish the FSEU brand beyond our core industry sectors.”

"Efficient electronic components are enabling so many state-of-the-art technologies across all market sectors," added Hotwire CEO Brendon Craigie. "It is exciting to communicate for brands that build the intelligence and ‘nervous system’ of products we use every day. We see real opportunities to continue to grow this sector of the agency worldwide in 2012."
