BENGALURU — Gillette and Genesis BCW took home the Platinum award for Best in Show at the virtual South Asia SABRE Awards ceremony last night, for a campaign that supported barbers during India's extensive Covid-19 lockdown. 

#GroomTheirFuture, which was lauded by judges for being "a smart idea with outstanding lead-gen" prevailed over four other finalists to take home the Platinum award, in order:
2. Stand For Safety — Bumble India with Ruder Finn India
3. Kids fight the good fight. And win! — Roche Diabetes Care with Edelman India
4. #Good Grief - A Campaign by Pallium India — Pallium India with The PRactice
5. Making India ‘Delivery Ready’ through the Pandemic — Vahan with First Partners

Genesis BCW led all agencies with 10 SABRE Awards, while First Partners won eight, including three Diamond SABRE Awards. Other multiple winners included Ruder Finn (5), Edelman, MSL and The PRactice (3 each). 

The prestigious Business Leader of the Year honour was awarded to Kunal Shah, founder of CRED.
