SINGAPORE — Golin has promoted Shouvik Prasanna Mukherjee to chief creative officer in Asia-Pacific, a newly-created role that reports directly to regional president Darren Burns.
Mukherjee takes on the role after more than a decade with the IPG Dxtra firm in Singapore, where he was most recently executive creative director. He will continue to lead the office's data, analytics and content unit, while also building a creative team across the agency’s markets in Asia-Pacific, including oversight of creators, graphic designers and content production teams.
“Shouvik has been an integral part of the Golin team for over a decade, leading multiple award-winning campaigns,” said Burns. “He will bring unparalleled energy and passion to drive growth by focusing on regional collaboration and earned-first creative ideas.”
During his career with Golin, Mukherjee has helped to develop award-winning campaigns for such clients as Guinness, Heineken, McDonald’s, Magnum, Nespresso, Panasonic, Porsche and Twitter.
“Ideas that earn attention work anywhere,” said Mukherjee. “Earning attention requires brave creativity that is culturally relevant and fuelled by insights and analytics. It delivers business results, as well as inspires awe, breaks stereotypes, and basically blows the mind. I’m excited to expand this incredible team so we can service more clients across the region with bold ideas.”
Mukherjee's elevation comes after Golin Singapore parted ways with MD Tarun Deo in late 2020. Since then, the office has been led on an interim basis by Burns.
