CHICAGO — Joe Doyle has been named digital healthcare lead for Golin and its specialty agency Virgo Health.
The newly created executive VP role will see Doyle leading digital healthcare innovation, strategy, and content for Golin and Virgo.
Doyle will focus on advanced communication technology and audience experiences across earned, paid, and owned channels for US health clients. His remit includes identifying and leveraging channels to reach diverse audiences and address client needs such as product development, medical education, experiential learning and disease awareness.
Prior to joining Golin, Doyle was senior VP, digital experience and strategy at Pivot Design and Intouch Group where he created strategies and personalized user experiences for clients like Abbott, AbbVie, Teva and Takeda. Before that, he held senior roles over his six-year career with HCB Health.
“Joe is an innovative leader with a proven track record of leveraging data and technology to help health and life sciences organizations meet their goals,” said global healthcare lead Cori McKeever. “Joe leads a growing team of digital health strategists who approach business challenges with forward-thinking solutions that push brands toward crucial evolution. His leadership will ensure that we’re leaning into the latest technology advances to create the best work of our lives.”
Doyle is the second senior healthcare leader Golin has hired this year.
In May, McKeever joined the firm as its first global president of healthcare, as which she leads both Golin’s healthcare practice and Virgo. She replaced Neera Chaudhary who left Golin early in the year to join Ketchum as president of North America.
