ZURICH — Strategic communications advisory firm Hering Schuppener Consulting – which becomes Finsbury Glover Hering after the WPP firms’ merger is complete in January 2021 – has expanded into Switzerland with the hire of Maya Kunz as managing director in Zurich.

Kunz joins the agency from BlackRock in Switzerland, where she had been head of corporate communications, leading on reputation strategy and executive positioning since early 2017. Before joining BlackRock, Kunz worked for nine years at Credit Suisse in London, New York and Zurich as a senior communications manager and media spokesperson.

In her new role, Swiss native Kunz will advise companies, organisations and executives on strategic and issues communications. She will work alongside Hendrik Bender, the firm’s Frankfurt MD, who has been developing its business in the Swiss market since this summer, and there are plans to grow a team in Zurich as well as tapping into Finsbury Glover Hering’s 700-strong staff for Swiss projects.
