SAN JOSE, CA — Cybersecurity company Trellix has awarded its global communications business to The Hoffman Agency.
As agency of record, Hoffman will support Trellix with PR, content and social in the US and EMEA and expand its existing relationship in APAC. The agency won the business in a competitive review.
Trellix launched as a new company in January, resulting from the merger of McAfee Enterprise and FireEye. Hotwire was working with McAfee Enterprise, the business-focused unit McAfee sold to Symphony Technology Group for $4 billion in October 2021.
Trellix — which provides cybersecurity hardware, software, and services — has nearly 5,000 employees and $1.8 billion in revenue.
“We were looking to uplevel our communications programs to align with our next-generation approach to cybersecurity and the evolution of our business,” said Sara Aiello, Trellix’s VP of global communications. “Hoffman understood our vision and has the skills and energy to deliver on an integrated global strategy across traditional and social media. Hoffman shares our enthusiasm, making them a great partner for Trellix."
