HONG KONG — The Hoffman Agency has hired Marc Sparrow to lead its presence in Hong Kong, as the firm looks to build on recent growth in the region.

Sparrow has taken on the role of Hong Kong GM, departing Golin where he spent more than four years as executive director. He succeeds Jenny Yip, who has left the Hoffman Agency.

Sparrow's arrival follows the hire of Caroline Hsu in May to oversee Asia-Pacific for Hoffman. In addition, the firm has named Miranda Lee as the new GM of its Seoul office, after bringing in Jason Cao to oversee China in February.

"We’re doubling down on the proposition that we deliver multiple-market campaigns for tech companies better than any other agency," said Lou Hoffman, CEO of the Hoffman Agency. "Yes, Marc will lead our Hong Kong office, but by not worshipping individual office P and Ls we envision Marc impacting our business across the region and beyond."

The appointments follow record quarterly revenue growth at Hoffman Asia-Pacific, which has grown revenue by 20% percent year-on-year in the region.

"With his marketing nous and the agency’s tech savvy, we’re well set to help Asian brands and startups in their quests to go global, and to help them solve real business problems," added Hsu.
