CHARLOTTE, NC— Honeywell has promoted LatAm corporate comms head Laura Paradas to a global role leading communications for its safety and productivity solutions business unit.
As global director of external communications for Honeywell SPS, Parada will be responsible for developing global comms strategies furthering the company’s business strategies, while positioning Honeywell as a leading provider of connected industrial solutions worldwide.
She replaces Eric Krantz, who is now Verra Mobility’s director of corporate marketing.
Paradas' remit includes developing and executing comprehensive media relations programs for key SPS businesses and leaders, building brand strength, and thought leadership. Paradas also will work closely with the customer marketing organization to launch new products and support multi-channel campaigns by creating, executing, tracking and measuring proactive external communications plans as part of an integrated marketing/PR strategy.
Parades has spent much of the last four years in Honeywell’s Mexico City office where she served as director of corporate communications. Before that she led LatAm communications for GE.
