SINGAPORE—Social media platform Hootsuite has shifted Asia-Pacific PR duties to Waggener Edstrom following a competitive review.

The move comes just one year after Hootsuite hired Ogilvy PR as its Asia-Pacific AOR.

The firm is tasked with providing strategic counsel for Hootsuite’s team, in a bid to elevate coverage and brand awareness across the region. WagEd will be responsible for driving Hootsuite’s communications programme across the region, focusing in particular on Singapore, Malaysia and Australia.

The agency will work in partnership Hootsuite's marketing and communications team to develop messaging, media relations, speaking platforms, influencer strategy, bespoke research.
