SAN FRANCISCO — Hotwire has hired veteran marketer Marcy Massura, reflecting the firm’s desire to further expand into marketing services.

As Hotwire’s first executive VP of marketing consulting services, Massura is charged with building the offering and working with clients on integrated strategy and marketing.

Massura's leadership role includes marketing strategy, digital campaign development, influencer and social media services. She is already leading Hotwire’s new Brightspot business, which it won in a competitive pitch, serving as an advisory CMO.

“Clients are asking us to play more of a senior consultant role and really embed ourselves into their organizations,” said Hotwire North America CEO Heather Kernahan. “We are uniquely positioned for this challenge as tech communications experts focused on business outcomes. Our clients are increasingly leaning into our partnership in order to fill gaps in skills and expertise, and to move marketing and communications to business-level strategy.”

Massura brings to Hotwire nearly 20 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on using digital as central to strategies. She has run her own firm, MM+CO, for the last four years, during which she has led marketing for Amped Kitchens and Torrid.

Her hiring is the latest step in Hotwire’s building out of its strategy and integrated services capabilities. Other recent additions include Lauren Buckley, senior director of brand strategy and planning, and director Len Pollard, who is focused on B2B integrated marketing planning.
