LONDON — The annual ICCO Global Summit to be held on 4-5 November, will focus on “The New Abnormal”, including emerging and unresolved issues that are challenging PR leaders to reevaluate the industry.

Confirmed speakers at the event come from 30 countries, including: WPP chief executive Mark Read; Sir Martin Sorrell, founder and executive chairman of S4 Capital; Richard Edelman; WE Communications global CEO and founder Melissa Waggener Zorkin; Hotwire group CEO Barbara Bates; the World Bank’s director of corporate communications Jeremy Hillman; Alex Aiken, executive director of UK government communications; Synergy H+K Korea’s chief executive HS Chung; AMEC chief Johna Burke; Coldr CEO Kamiqua Pearce; DNA Brand Architects’ Sylvester Chauke; Omnicom’s president of international growth and development David Gallagher; and Social Disruption founder Shannon Walker.

The summit will also see the launch of the World PR Report, the annual global industry research by ICCO and PRovoke Media, carried out by Opinium.

ICCO president Nitin Mantri, group CEO of Avian WE, said this year’s virtual conference would “uncover how this pandemic has impacted us and more importantly how we can come out better and more equipped to manage and build momentum for next year. It’s also a great learning and networking opportunity.”

The summit is sponsored by Newswhip, along with PRovoke Media, crisis simulation company Polpeo, digital content platform ePresspack and virtual content specialist Access Studios.
