NEW YORK — PRSA has partnered with the Puerto Rico Public Relations Association to provide mutually beneficial professional development, educational and career opportunities for members of each respective organization. Benefits available to PRPRA members through the agreement include a discounted annual membership to PRSA as well as access to all PRSA programming. PRPRA will also provide access to its professional development and other program offerings to PRSA members.
 
TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Plank Center for Leadership in Public Relations has named Leah Seay chair of its 2021 emerging leaders committee. Seay (pictured) is a crisis and issues management spokesperson at Amazon, where she serves as Amazon operations’ lead media contact for litigation, porch piracy/theft, global social media issues, and customer service issues. The emerging leaders committee provides students and young professionals with resources and guidance from leaders in the field.

NEW YORK —  The NYU School of Professional Studies this spring will launch a new certificate in healthcare marketing and communications program. The certificate program is built around two core foundation courses—The Evolving US Healthcare Ecosystem and Healthcare Marketing and Communications Essentials. Optional courses explore how medicines, medical devices, services, and emerging healthcare technologies are developed, tested, approved, launched, delivered, regulated, and promoted.
