ST. LOUIS—To celebrate FleishmanHillard’s 70th anniversary, the company is uniting colleagues to take action in their own way around a singular cause: social inclusion. The company has set a goal to provide $2 million in pro bono services specifically related to social inclusion and is asking each office to select a project that will support the cause for people in their local communities during the 70th anniversary year.

MIAMI—rbb Communications has opened a new office in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The expansion follows recent acquisitions of Spiderboost Communications and OutOfTheBlue Advertising. Several current rbb employees will be based full- or part-time in the Fort Lauderdale office which will be led by John Quinn, partner and executive vice president. 

TORONTO—UK public relations firm Beattie is planning to open four offices in Canada. The first office will be in Toronto with additional operations planned for Calgary, Montreal and Vancouver. Leading Beattie’s business in Canada is Jessica McAndrew, a strategy coach before joining marketing firm Groundzero in Toronto in 2010. She joined Beattie six months ago. In the UK, Beattie has a 100-strong team operating from eight offices including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

LOS ANGELES—Prosper Group, an advisory firm for owners of marketing communication agencies, has appointed Doug Baxter as senior counselor. Prior to joining Prosper, Baxter served as managing partner at M&C Saatchi's North American digital and social agency Share. He also created io Group, an online media group, and Robot & Child, a marketing firm that was eventually acquired by Fraser Communications.
