CALGARY — A study by Benevity, a social responsibility and employee engagement software company, found that employees who participate in work-driven programs such as volunteering and giving are more likely to stick with their jobs. The Benevity Engagement Study found that turnover dropped by 57% in the employee group most deeply connected to their companies’ giving and volunteering efforts.  It  found that is a 28% turnover employees who neither donate nor volunteer; 18% turnover among employees who only donated money; 17% turnover among employees who only volunteered; and 12% turnover among employees that both donated money and volunteered time.
