MADRID—Spanish PR firm Inforpress has opened new offices in Washington DC and Brussels as the latest steps in its ambitious international expansion plan.

The operations will focus on public affairs, and take Inforpress' global network to 300 professionals in 11 countries.

The Inforpress operation in Washington DC is led by Javier Salgado, who has been with the firm since 2000, most recently coordinating its Andean presence.

In Brussels, meanwhile, Inforpress will be headed by European affairs specialist Ángel Rebollo, who previously worked as an advisor in the European Parliament from 2009 to 2014. Rebello was external trade technician for the Federation of Spanish Chambers of Commerce in Europe at its Brussels HQ.

"We are growing to follow our clients on their strategic projects because, as they are mainly big Iberian-American and European multinational companies, they increasingly need a specialized consultancy near the most important decision making organizations," said Núria Vilanova, Inforpress president and founder.

"For this reason, we decided to open offices in Brussels and Washington D.C. where we hope to represent them and follow closely the key topics facing institutions and multilateral bodies. Inforpress has to be present where the most important decisions are made."
