BRUSSELS—International public affairs firm Interel is launching a dedicated global public affairs practice run out of Brussels, Berlin, London, Washington, DC, Beijing and Singapore.

The new global practice will target multi-country public affairs clients with the support of the Interel Global Partnership, which contractually links Interel to 30 of the world’s leading independent public affairs consultancies. With offices in 45 countries, including the BRIC markets, the global partnership has a combined fee income €100m and works with some 1,400 clients.

The new practice will be headed by Jan Kallmorgen and managed by a team of five senior experts who will run global accounts in their own time zones. Kallmorgen, who joined the company in January 2014 as a partner, will draw on his experience of consulting major corporations and investment firms, and working at international policy institutions and Goldman Sachs.

The practice will offer a number of new services developed specifically for the global market including a web-based global issues tracking system, international policy briefings, global positioning workshops and a consulting programme targeted at clients seeking to build a global public affairs function.
