NEW YORK — Evoke, the Huntsworth-owned healthcare agency, has named Jennifer O’Dwyer its new president of North America.

O’Dwyer has spent nearly 20 years in healthcare agency leadership roles. She joins after 12 years at CDM New York, where she most recently served as associate partner, director of client services.

She succeeds Tom Donnelly, who now serves as chief growth officer for all of Evoke’s agency brands.

“Jen is the ideal leader for our clients and teams. She has a wealth of the right experience in this industry and brings a level of excitement that transfers to everyone around her,” said CEO Reid Connolly.

“As we’ve continued to grow Evoke into one of the premier health agencies worldwide, scaling our leadership team to match has been critical. Jen’s addition will play an important role in delivering amazing work and growing even more rewarding relationships with our clients.”

O’Dwyer assumes the role as Huntsworth continues to hone its focus on healthcare, which was set into motion after the company took financial hits in its comms revenue over the last couple of years.

Huntsworth has made a spate of recent investments in the area. In the last year, the umbrella group has purchased the firms Kyne and CC, New Jersey-based Navience Healthcare Solutions and San Francisco agency Giant Creative Strategy.

The group now has two distinct areas of focus: healthcare, which is made up of medical, marketing and immersive divisions; and communications.
