ST. LOUIS—FleishmanHillard has hired Jim Joseph as global head of brand impact, responsible for leading the Omnicom agency’s global brand business across B2B, B2C and B2G audiences.

Joseph joins from Fleishman’s sister agency Ketchum, where he held various roles including US CEO and global chief marketing officer. Before that he was the chief customer solutions officer at IPG Health and previously served as global president at BCW. He has worked at agencies Lippe Taylor, Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness and GW Hoffman Marketing and in corporate positions at Johnson & Johnson and Church & Dwight.

He is the latest appointee to the new global leadership team being put together by JJCarter, who was named FleishmanHillard’s global CEO in August of last year. He will work closely with Americas president and chief strategy officer Della Sweetman; chief operating officer Lisa Moehlenkamp; chief client officer Emily Frager and others.

According to Carter,  “Jim’s expertise in client-side brand management, as well as his roles across multiple agency disciplines and industry sectors throughout his career, perfectly position him to make FleishmanHillard the undisputed global destination for brand work and for clients who need a partner that will deliver true business impact.”

FleishmanHillard has long been best known for its capabilities in corporate affairs consulting as well as its business-to=business acumen, but Joseph will strengthen the brand impact offer, which the firm says will focus on driving g commercial outcomes for clients.
