SINGAPORE—John Kerr has added a new role as Zeno's first chief digital officer to his existing remit as Asia-Pacific head.

Kerr, who held a senior digital role at Edelman Asia-Pacific before joining sister agency Zeno in 2012, will lead the firm’s efforts to globalise its digital strategy and offering.

Much of Kerr's work since launching Zeno Asia-Pacific has focused on building the firm into a digitally-focused operation. "Kerr is a recognized thought leader in the social-digital space; over the last several years, he has effectively led the development of a highly differentiated and acclaimed digital capability for Zeno across Asia," said Siegel.

Kerr will remain based in Singapore. "As digital becomes a bigger proportion of our business, we will add specialists and specialisms that help our clients truly reinvent how they communicate with their customers – across their entire consumer journey, and experience," he said.

"Our inherent strengths, relative size and leadership ambition will continue to attract the best and brightest digital talent to join us – which is why our approach will not, and cannot, be ‘me too.’"
