NEW YORK — Marina Maher Communications has hired Joshua Wu as senior VP of performance analytics.

Wu is responsible for expanding the agency’s predictive and performance analytics capabilities, while driving an agencywide analytics-first approach to client services.

Wu joins from Edelman Data & Intelligence, where he most recently served as a VP. He will report to chief strategy officer Amy Inzanti.

Wu replaces James O’Malley, who is now head of advanced analytics & measurement for J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

“As SVP, performance analytics, Josh will usher in the next evolution of analytics here at MMC,” Inzanti said. “As an organization, we have spent the past few years building this predictive and performance analytics function, getting our assets in place, and creating new innovation to solve our client’s biggest communications challenges. And now, Josh will lead this analytics-first mindset for us and our clients. We’re moving from building mode to changing the game mode.”
